We are excited to welcome our second daughter, Reiah Praise, born April 4th. You could say that she is the perfect baby, sleeps good, not fussy, everything and everyone is doing well. We are so thankful! I just need to share one extra photo this month, this was the moment our oldest daughter Abrielle met her sister, and it very accurately depicts her feelings about being a big sister.
The big news from Elegant Themes this month was the release of Divi Cloud. Be sure to check it out! We all knew this was coming if you saw my future of Divi post/video, and it’s a great start with a lot more planned. I have some mixed thoughts on it. It is a smart move, and has great potential. But I do miss being able to quickly load a module, row, or section and instead needing to load the entire library. But yeah, it will be a much bigger part of Divi in the future.
New Tutorials In April
We released a new Divi tutorial every Tuesday as usual for a total of 4 during the month of April. These are always written blog posts and YouTube videos.
- How To Use CSS Clamp For Fluid Typography In Divi With The Divi Responsive Helper Plugin
- How To Move The Divi Gallery Title And Caption Text Over The Image
- How To Display The Divi Contact Form Checkboxes And Radio Buttons Inline Horizontal Or In Columns
- How To Show Icons Beside The Category, Date, And Author Meta Text In The Divi Blog Module
Divi Dynamic Helper
Introducing our 8th and plugin from Pee-Aye Creative, the Divi Dynamic Helper! This new plugin enables the missing dynamic content icon/feature in the existing Divi Video, Audio, Gallery, and Map modules. Now you can connect the Divi modules with custom fields to play videos, show an image gallery, play audio, or show a map!
⚡P.S. You can even use ACF (free version) + Divi Gallery module!!! 😮
This graphic shows what it does:
If you use custom fields and the Divi Theme builder, you can see immediately how valuable this is for making dynamic websites. We are really excited, and will be sharing some related tutorials and use cases in the months ahead.
Divi Contact Form Helper
This plugin is sure popular! If you missed the version 1.1 update, be sure to check out the release post/video to see all the new features! And guess what…we are into final development and testing of another huge update! Yes, expect an update in the first half of May with enough features to make this a booking or scheduling plugin.
Secret Product Beta Tester Signup
*For those who signed up last month, I admit I didn’t do anything with your signups yet. It was just too busy of a month. We also spent 2 weeks on a major UI overhaul of the entire platform/plugin, so yeah…didn’t make the progress we wanted on functionality.
For a few months, we have been teasing a new product that is outside of the normal Pee-Aye Creative products. It is a SaaS product/WP plugin combination. I realize we have not given many details and I apologize for that, but we are finally ready to start taking beta testers! If you are interested, please complete this form to signup.
Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! And that is one proud big sister.
I’m enjoying the Divi Contact Form Helper so far – looking forward to exciting updates.
Thank you Monica, yes for sure 🙂 Glad you like the plugin, we have soooo much more coming!
Congratulations on the birth of your second born. Wishing health and prosperity for your family.
Thanks so much, Mike!
Love Divi and your tutorials. How do you see Divi evolving in relationship to Gutenberg full site editing? How to describe when to use each in developing a site?
