Divi Assistant Settings Search Feature
As we continually add new settings and features, we’ve noticed that one of the most requested features is the ability to search within Divi Assistant to find the setting you need quickly. Implementing this feature was more challenging than it might seem, but we’re excited to announce that you can now search for settings within Divi Assistant! Simply click the search icon in the header to bring up the search bar. Enter any keyword, such as “hide,” and a list of all settings containing that keyword will appear. You can then click on any of the result cards to navigate directly to the relevant setting within Divi Assistant.
Added Language Translation Support
This was a huge task! Everything that has text through our our settings had to be rewrittne to account for text strings to be used in different languages. Now when you change the Site Lanuage in WordPress General Settings, the language of the Divi Assistant interface will change accordiongly. Note this only works if your language is already supported. For this first release, we included Spanish as an example. We invite users of other languages to complete the translations by copying the English language files and translating them in a tool like Poedit or Loco Translate, and then share the file with us to be included in the next update for other to benefit.

Added Checkbox To Include Divi Assistant Settings In Export/Import
If you missed the huge 1.2 Divi Assistant version update, please be sure to check the blog post and video about that! We introduced a tremendously helpful feature to export and import not only the Divi Assistant settings, but also things like the Theme Options, Customizer settings, Theme builder templates, and more.
We then realized it would make sense to have the Divi Assistant settings as an option rather than having them included by default. This allows you to export and import exactly what you want each time!

Rearranged Settings And Added New Divi Upsells Subtab
When Divi released their new AI Quick Sites update, which included the new Divi Dashboard area, we knew we needed to add more features to Divi Assistant to help control what items are displayed. It made sense to me to organize the settings related to the extra Divi products like AI, Marketplace, and Cloud into their own settings tab. Now you can find settings related to those things in the Divi Upsells subtab.
Hide Divi Dashboard
Elegant Themes recently added a new Dashboard screen under the Divi menu, which appears by default when you click the Divi menu. This screen includes helpful prompts and upsells, but you may prefer not to use it or have your clients access it. With Divi Assistant, we now offer various features to hide upsells, and are pleased to also provide this related option to completely hide the Dashboard. By enabling this setting, you can remove the Divi Dashboard menu item from the Divi menu entirely.
Hide All Upsells In The Divi Dashboard
Over the years, Elegant Themes has created a robust ecosystem of optional products designed to enhance your Divi website-building experience. These products include Premade Layouts, Divi Cloud, Divi AI, Divi Teams, and the Divi Marketplace. All these tools are displayed on the Divi Dashboard screen for you you to consider using. However, you may have various reasons for wanting to hide these features, especially from clients. Since Divi does not offer a native option to manage this, we have added this option in Divi Assistant to completely hide the Divi upsells section from the Divi Dashboard screen.
Disable Divi Quick Sites
Elegant Themes recently released a new “Divi Quick Sites” feature. This is related to the Divi AI feature, so now that you can disable each Divi AI feature independently, this means you can disable this Divi Quick Sites card from showing in the Divi Dashboard.
Disable Each Divi AI Feature Independently
In the past, we had a setting to completely Disable the Divi AI feature. This worked great, but some customers asked if there was a way to disable each of the Divi AI features individually, like if they were okay with the Text AI but didn’t want the Image AI for example. This was not easy to achieve, but after much work we have changed the existing setting to a series of settings for each feature.
Please note, if you had the previous “Disable Divi AI” feature enabled, it will be reset when you update to version 1.3 and you will need to enable each of the new settings. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it was unavoidable.
Code Helper
Added PHP Code Editor In The Backend In The Code Helper Tab
Many situations require you to modify the core structure of your Divi website or add some additional functionality. Many tutorials on our blog and other WordPress functions require pasting PHP code into your website, but unfortunately, there is no option in Divi to paste the snippet or extend the theme with PHP code.
We have solved this issue by creating two new convenient ways to add PHP code to your Divi website. The first is with our custom code editor window in the Divi Visual Builder, and the second is with our custom PHP code editor located in the Code Helper tab. Any code added here will sync with the code added in our Visual Builder code editor, the only difference is where it is accessed.
