The ability to create your own tabs with the Divi Tabs Maker is a lot of fun, especially with hundreds of design settings! But we never stop, and we heard from you about some new features you wanted, so here they are! This update includes a new feature to add a custom URL to a tab to use it to link to another page, updates to deeplinking, keyboard navigation, and a new alignment option for the icons and images in the tabs. New Features
Use Tab As Link
When I first heard this feature request, I thought the customer was confused with a menu module, but then I realized it could be very useful. This allows you to mix links into the same UI with other tabs. For example, you might have 3 tabs with content, but the 4th needs more details, so you link it to another page instead. And weirdly enough, you could now use this module as a menu! Especially considering dynamic content. You could make a tabbed gallery, tab blog categories, and much more!
Responsive Settings For Tab Shapes
We realized that the tab shapes did not work the best on mobile, but there was no way to turn them on or off per device, so we added responsive tabs!
Align Image/Icon With Text
If you have text aligned to the center for the title, it looked odd to have the image or icon off to the side. So we found a way to make the icon or image align with the text, meaning if you have the tab text aligned center, the icon or image with be directly with it instead of off to the side.
Multiple Deeplinking On Same Page
A customer wanted to use more than one Divi Tabs Maker module on a page with deeplinking, but it needed some updates in order to work well because it was using the same IDs for each module. As a reminder, you can enable the deeplinking setting and then right-click on the tab on the frontend to get a direct link to that specific tab to use as a link to the ab from another page.
