New Features
Dynamic Support For Subcategories
We realized a lot of our customers were not only using categories on their site, but also subcategories underneath those parent categories. I personally use this setup and recommend it.

In the screenshot above, notice the Fitness category is the parent category, and the others like Cycling, Exercise, Hiking, etc. are child or subcategories of the parent category.
The new feature is in the Taxonomies module. When you create a category template in the Divi Theme Builder, now you can place the Taxonomies module into the category template set it to dynamic content, and when a visitor views the parent category, now the subcategories of that specific category will be displayed in the module. Below is an example of what would be seen when viewing the Fitness category page.
Pretty cool, huh? I’m quite happy with this new feature, and I know many of you who asked for this will be too! You can view this page on our demo site.
Selected Taxonomies Can Be Sorted
Until now, if you were using the checkboxes to select individual taxonomies, the options for Order and Order By were not working, but now we added support for these options to all work together.
Support For Extra Theme
Some of the options were not working in the Extra Theme by Elegant Themes, but now we have updated this to include support for that for those who are using it.

Transition Affects
In the Advanced tab of any Divi module, row, or section is a toggle called Transitions. We realized these are not working in Divi, so we went ahead of them and fixed this in our Taxonomies module. Now, if you add a background color on hover or other hover setting, the transition will apply.

35 Free Demo layouts
We are excited to announce all the demo layouts for the Divi Taxonomy Helper plugin are available as free layouts for you to import into your own site. These layouts are built on our demo website using the settings in the Taxonomies module. We thought it would be a cool bonus to give away these layouts so that you could quickly match the demo examples on your own site and see what settings are used to create the design.
Documentation
As with all of our products, every setting and feature of the plugin is well documented! Go check out the plugin documentation area for everything you need to know about using the module.
