Overview
If you have been wondering how to create nested modules in Divi, or add sections, rows, and modules to other modules with dynamic content from a custom field, rejoice! We have the solution! The Divi Dynamic Helper plugin by Pee-Aye Creative adds support for loading Divi Library layouts in to the Dive Builder using the dynamic content icon inside any module content area. Whenever you click the gray dynamic content icon in any module – Text, Blurb Body, Accordion, Tabs, Slider, etc. you can add a nested Divi Library layout! That’s right, no more shortcodes! You can just create or add layouts, sections, rows, and modules to your Divi Library, then add them anywhere with dynamic content! Super, super quick and easy! Any module can now be nested within another one!
1. Plan Which Layout You Want Inside Another Module
The first step is to decide which layout you want to add to another module. You may already have a layout in mind, or maybe have some layouts already saved to the Divi Library. In that case, go ahead to step #2.
If you do not yet have the layout created, you can design your own layout or use a premade layout, and save it to your Divi Library.
2. Open The Module Where You Want to Add The Layout
Next, open up the module where you want to insert the layout from the Divi Library. This would need to be a module with a content area, such as a Text module text area, Blurb module body text area, Accordion module content area, Tabs module tab content area, Slider module content area, etc. Other modules without a content area would not be relevant.
4. Select The Layout
When you click the dynamic content icon, a new window will appear with a list of all custom fields. But our plugin also adds a new section to this list called Divi Library – Divi Dynamic Helper. Our plugin shows a list of all the layouts that are saved in the Divi Library. These layouts are available for you to click on to load into the current content area.
5. Save The Module Settings
At this point, you are finished adding the layout from the library to the module. Be sure to save the module settings, and when you exit the builder, you will see the layout from the Divi Library displays inside the content area of the module.
Well done, you have completed the steps! Now go enjoy the result of this helpful plugin! Be sure to leave us a great 5-star review, it would be very helpful in spreading the word about our plugin. If you need any assistance, you can contact our support any time!
