Events Ticket Module

Overview

Welcome to the Events Ticket module documentation! Here you will learn everything you need to know about the Events Ticket module, which is specifically designed to integrate The Events Calendar’s Event Tickets addon with Divi. Please note this module is currently in BETA and has only the essential functionality, with more design-related features planned in the future.

Why We Created This Module

A lot of our users asked for an easy way to display tickets and RSVPs from the free Event Tickets addon by The Events Calendar directly on their Divi event pages. Since the addon doesn’t work with Divi’s Theme Builder and doesn’t offer shortcodes, adding ticket displays was challenging. We created this module as a solution, allowing you to use it as a “window” to show ticket or RSVP sections seamlessly within Divi. Keep in mind, though, that all ticketing functionality is still managed by the Event Tickets addon, so for setup steps, refer to their documentation.

Future Design Features

Currently, the Events Ticket module doesn’t include design settings. Since this module has more specialized use, we chose to release a functional version first and focus our development efforts on adapting our existing plugins for Divi 5. Rest assured, we plan to add design controls to this module in the future, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we prioritize development.

Preview Inside Builder

When you add the Events Ticket module to your single event template, it offers a not-very-nice preview. This is not something we can control at this time. But even though this is a basic visual, this preview helps you know where to arrange the ticket display on the page.

Frontend Display

Once you set up tickets or RSVPs in the Event Tickets addon, the frontend display reflects those settings. Styling is currently minimal, so feel free to use CSS for custom styling. We’re happy to share tips, and user-contributed styling snippets are always welcome!

NOTE: The ticket module is dynamic, meaning even if you add it to your single event Theme Builder template, it will only actually display if there are tickets or RSVPs added to that specific event you are viewing.
