How To Use The Events Page Module

Welcome to the overview video for the Events Page module of the Divi Events Calendar plugin. In this video I’m going to walk you through how to add the module to your layout, talk about the settings and features that it has, and show you some tips on how to use it.

As you set up and use the module, I highly recommend you also reference our document which lists all the settings and features included in this particular module. You should also check out the demos for this module!

I hope you found this video helpful as you set up and use the Events Page module. Be sure to reference all of our other documentation guides and resources, and if you have any issues we’ll be happy to help.

Make Sure The Correct Template Is Selected

When using Divi with The Events Calendar, you need to have the single event pages set to the correct template. This should be correct by default. You can double-check this setting by going to Events>Settings>Display>Events template. Make sure the dropdown is set to “Default Events Template.”

Using The Divi Builder AND Theme Builder On Event Pages

Note that the “Description” in our Events Page module is best used with Gutenberg/Classic WordPress on the actual event page. But if you want to design individual event pages with the Divi Builder, you will need to turn off the description and add the Post Content Module. When you try to enable the Divi Builder with a Theme Builder template already assigned to the single events pages, you will get a notice as shown below.

Technically the Events Page description should still work if you exit out of the “Missing Post Content Module” popup, but it’s best to follow the normal Divi procedure and use the Post Content module.
