In this area of our Divi Events Calendar plugin documentation you will learn everything you need to know about the Events Ticket module.
This module is brand new! Consider it BETA!
A lot of people asked us how to use the free Event Tickets addon from The Events Calendar with Divi. It actually does not work with the Theme Builder templates and there is no shortcode in their free version, so anyone who wanted to show tickets or RSVP on the single event pages, were stuck. Until now! We made this module for you to display the tickets and RSVP sections on your event pages. Remember, all functionality is handled by their addon, and this module’s purpose is to display that data. You will need to refer to their plugin documentation for setup of the actual Event Tickets plugin.
A Last Minute Bonus
This module is so new we haven’t even had time to write docs for it. Please bear with us as we work on other priorities with this release. We actually decided to include this basic module last minute near the end or our development for version 2.1, so this module is very basic at this point, but functional. It does it’s job of adding the tickets and RSVP to your page. It does not have any design settings yet, but we decided functionality was more important just to get it out there. The choice was nothing, or something functional without design settings. This made sense to us, and I hope you understand. If you want to see design settings added to this module, please tell us. This module is a bit niche, so hearing from you is important for us to gauge interest and prioritize development features.
Inside Builder Preview
This is how it will look right now if you add this to your single event page template:
Not pretty, but it gives you the basic idea of how much space it will take up and helps you at least get a visual on how it will almost look on the frontend.
If you have tickets and/or RSVP set up in the Event Tickets addon plugin, then here is how it will look on the frontend:
At this point you are on your own to style this will CSS as needed. We will try to add a few snippets, or you care to share some with us that would be super awesome!
