Plugin History
Our initial 1.0 release had all of the necessary features for the auto-restart and evergreen countdown timers which were improved in 1.1.
Then, our huge 2.0 update in February 2021 added tons of functionality and new design features.
Plugin Future
We have been working for over a year on a huge update. It’s so big we are considering changing the name, and it will definitely be worthy of being called version 3.0. Here are some things we are working on:
- New Timer Start Trigger options interface
- New Timer End Trigger options interface
- New button click start trigger
- New timer start triggers
- New timer end triggers
- Integration with The Events Calendar event start date
- Integration with Advanced Custom Fields date/timer picker field
- Integration with WooCommerce product sales start/end date
- Animations and countdown timer styles
Constant Development
This plugin is in constant development with continual updates. Even so, we are happy to say this plugin is mature, meaning it has reached a level that provides plenty of value and stability with the current set of features. However, we love adding more and more features and settings to our products to increase the value. We always maintain a private development list of ideas, feature requests, planned features, and features in current development.
Settings List = Roadmap
Our unique settings list also works as a roadmap and a changelog! Be sure to check the version numbers next to each setting. Items with a green number are already available, and items with a pink number are new features in development or planned and coming soon! As we begin working on new features, we always update the settings list, so be sure to check back often to see what is planned.
Feature Requests
We love adding new features that benefit the users and add value to our products. If you have any good ideas for new features or suggestions on how to improve this product, please visit our support page and complete the form to share them with us! Many of the features in this plugin were added because of user feedback and feature requests, so we would love to hear from you!
