Overview
Over the past few years, the Divi Theme and Builder have undergone a major transformation, with a complete rewrite of the core builder. This long-term project is culminating in Divi 5, the foundation for Divi’s future.
Because of these core changes, all third-party plugins like ours must also be rebuilt to remain compatible and supported moving forward. We’ve spent the past several years fully committed to this massive effort, investing significant time, energy, and financial resources. That hard work is now paying off, and we’re steadily rolling out Divi 5 compatibility across our plugins.
Please read this entire guide carefully before updating. It includes essential details, potential risks, and our planned timeline. This is an important transition, so we encourage you to take your time and follow the information step-by-step as we move into a new era of Divi together.

Special Notes And Instructions
Divi 5 has already made significant changes from Divi 4, particularly in how responsiveness functions and how rows and column stacking will be managed with the new flexbox layouts feature. We don’t know yet how this will affect our row and column-related features, but I suspect some will be deprecated. I estimate that around 85% of the existing features will still be applicable. Even if that percentage drops, the plugin still offers many unique and helpful features, and we now have the opportunity to brainstorm and introduce even more. We are already planning 5-6 new features to increase this plugin’s value significantly! Even if some features become deprecated due to being included in Divi, consider this: I launched the plugin with just one setting, and it sold like CRAZY. Then, I gradually added more features while maintaining the same price. Users initially purchased it for one feature, then for three, and eventually for twelve, and now with over fifty features. We are excited about our new ideas, and welcome any and all feedback and ideas for settings and features related to improve the responsive editing experience in Divi.
