Below is a list of all the custom settings found within the Divi Taxonomy Helper plugin. For your convenience, we have listed all the custom settings with their label and descriptive help text for quick reference. Note that additional standard Divi module settings are also included in the module, but are not listed here.
This unique settings list also works as a roadmap and a changelog! Be sure to check the version numbers next to each setting. Items with a green number are already available, and items with a pink number are new features in development or planned and coming soon! As we begin working on new features, we always update the settings list, so be sure to check back often to see what is planned.
Green Version Number = Already In Current Version
Red Version Number = Coming Soon In Future Updates
Taxonomy Term Images
By default, WordPress does not have a field for adding an image to taxonomies like categories and tags. The Divi Taxonomy Helper adds a new image picker button to any taxonomy term. You can add images to your taxonomy terms when adding new taxonomies or editing existing ones.
Please reference our full guide on How To Add Images To Taxonomy Terms for more info about why this is needed, what it does, and how to set it up.
Divi Theme Builder Template Support
Our plugin adds the ability to use the taxonomy image with Dynamic Content in Divi. You can show this in an image module or as a background image of the section, row, or module. This is ideally suited for creating taxonomy templates, such as an All Categories page using the taxonomy term image as the featured image of the template.
Please reference our full guide on How To Use Taxonomy Featured Images In Divi Theme Builder Templates for more info about why this is needed, what it does, and how to use it.
Taxonomies Module
Our plugin adds a new custom Taxonomies module to the Divi Builder for displaying a grid of taxonomies. This module has similarities to the Divi Blog module, but with a few important changes. Instead of displaying posts, it displays taxonomies such as categories and tags.
To add the module to your layout, go to the Divi Builder and click the gray plus button. The quickest way to find our module is to use the search bar and start typing “tax…” and you will see our custom module which is named “Taxonomies.”
Please reference our full guide on How To Display Taxonomies In A Module for more information about how to use and set up the module.
