Product License Keys
What Are Product License Keys?
A product license key is a unique series of numbers and letters generated at the time of purchase. It connects the plugin installed on your website to your account on our website, verifying the authenticity of your purchase.
Why Are License Keys Required?
An active license key connected to your account confirms your purchase and grants you automatic updates and support. This ensures peace of mind as WordPress, Divi, and other software continue to evolve. We are committed to supporting our products for the duration of your subscription.
Products Requiring License Keys
Our plugins are the only products that require a license key. Our child themes do not use license keys.

License Types & Permissions
Annual Unlimited
- Usage: You can use the product and its license keys on an unlimited number of websites, subject to the conditions below.
- Conditions: You can use the product on personal or business websites that you own and manage, as well as websites you develop and actively maintain for clients. For any client websites using the license key, you must maintain an active subscription; otherwise, the client will need to purchase their own license. This license also supports use on WordPress multisite installations.
- Support: This subscription includes access to product support for the original purchaser, provided the site has an active license key and the subscription remains active. Support is available on any licensed sites that meet these conditions. Please refer to our Product Support Policy for detailed instructions on requesting support.
- Updates: You will receive access to product updates on all licensed sites for the duration of your subscription. Refer to our Product Updates Guide for information on how updates are delivered and managed.
- Downloads: With an active subscription, you can download the product from your account at any time.
- Payments: The annual subscription payment will automatically renew each year until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account.
Lifetime Single
- Usage: You can use the product and its license keys on a single website, subject to the conditions below.
- Conditions: You can use the product on a personal or business website that you own and manage, or a website that you develop and actively maintain for a client. For any client websites using the license key, you must maintain an active subscription; otherwise, the client will need to purchase their own license. Multisite installations are not supported under this plan. You are permitted to use the license key on a staging site.
- Support: This subscription includes access to product support for the original purchaser, provided the site has an active license key and the subscription remains active. Support is available only on the licensed site that meets these conditions. Please refer to our Product Support Policy for detailed instructions on requesting support.
- Updates: You will receive access to product updates on the licensed site for the lifetime of the product. Refer to our Product Updates Guide for information on how updates are delivered and managed.
- Downloads: With an active subscription, you can download the product from your account at any time.
- Payments: The lifetime subscription payment is a one-time fee with no recurring payments.

Can I use the product on staging or development sites?
Yes, you can use the license key on staging sites for all plans.
Can I use the product on a multisite installation?
The Annual Unlimited and Lifetime Unlimited subscriptions support multisite installations. However, the Lifetime Single subscription does not support multisite installations.
Can I use the product on client websites?
Yes, each subscription allows you to use the product on websites that you develop and actively maintain for clients as long as the license key remains active. For any client websites, you must maintain an active subscription. If you stop maintaining a client’s website, the client will need to purchase their own license. Consider becoming an affiliate partner and using an affiliate link when directing clients to purchase the product themselves.
What happens if I no longer maintain a client’s website?
If you stop maintaining a client’s website, you must remove the license key from that site. The client will need to purchase their own license to continue receiving updates and support. Consider becoming an affiliate partner and using an affiliate link when directing clients to purchase the product themselves.
What happens if my subscription expires or I cancel it?
If your Annual Unlimited subscription expires or is canceled, you will lose access to updates, support, and downloads for all sites using the license key. Any client sites using the license key will also need to purchase their own license to continue using the product with updates and support.
The Lifetime Unlimited or Lifetime Single subscriptions will not expire, so you will continue to get updates and support indefinitely. If you choose to cancel the lifetime subscription, you will lose access to updates, support, and downloads for all sites.
Will my subscription payment automatically renew?
Yes, for Annual Unlimited subscriptions, the subscription will automatically renew each year unless canceled.
For Lifetime Single or Lifetime Unlimited subscriptions, the payment is a one-time fee with no recurring payments.
