How To Add the Word “Menu” To the Divi Theme Builder Hamburger Menu

This code snippet from the Divi Code Snippet Club will add the word "Menu" to mobile hamburger menu in the new Divi Menu Module.

The new Theme Builder in Divi by Elegant Themes has some potential, but for now, it is severely limited. Today marks the first in a series of code snippets aimed to help solve some problems with the new Divi Menu Module.

Below I have a simple screenshot of how this will look.

So to add the word “Menu” to the left of the Divi Menu in the new Theme Builder, just copy and paste this little CSS snippet into the Divi>Theme Options>Custom CSS box.

/*add a word beside the hamburger menu*/
.et_mobile_nav_menu:before {
  margin-right: 4px;

Don’t forget to style this how you want it. You could change the color, make it bold, change the font, etc. Hopefully, this gets you started, and be sure to check back soon for more Divi code snippets!
