Elegant Themes has been an early adapter of AI features in the Divi Theme/Builder, and they continue to release various AI related features. The entire range of Divi AI features so far includes Divi Text AI, Divi Image AI, Divi Code AI, Divi Section AI, Divi Layouts AI, and Divi Quick Sites. Divi provides a way to disable AI features through the Role Editor, but by default, these features are enabled for all sites and remain easily accessible. You might want to disable specific features while keeping others active, which isn’t possible in Divi by default. We understand the concerns, and recognize the need for control and customization. To address this, we have integrated individual settings for each AI feature within Divi Assistant. In this tutorial, I will show you how to disable each individual Divi AI feature across your website for all users with Divi Assistant.

Disable Divi AI And Divi Quick Sites In The Role Editor
It’s important to note that the Divi AI features are enabled by default for every new website, or any time an existing website is updated with the new features. If you do not want to use the Divi AI features, or do not want other users such as clients to use it, you need to disable the feature on each site.
After Elegant Themes released Divi AI originally, they added a setting to the Role Editor to disable Divi AI. We already covered this in a previous tutorial about how to disable Divi AI, and explained that this option still shows in the Role Editor, which is not ideal.
In version 4.26.1, Elegant Themes added a new setting in the Role Editor to disable Divi Quick Sites, which is a feature that shows in the new Divi Dashboard. (Please check our other tutorial for removing the Divi Dashboard). However, the setting still shows in the Role Editor.
If you are fine with disabling all the Divi AI features and Divi Quick sites manually on each site, you can easily handle that with their settings in the Divi Role Editor. If you are interested in a bit more flexibility and convenience, keep reading!

How To Disable Each Divi AI Feature Individually Using Divi Assistant
Here are the simple steps to disable each Divi AI feature individually using our popular Divi Assistant plugin:
- Install and activate the Divi Assistant plugin
- Click on the Visual Builder Helper tab and the Upsells subtab
- Enable the settings
