Lately, I personally have been facing a super random issue with my Divi Library layouts disappearing. I saw from the Divi Facebook groups that this is happening to many other users as well. Thankfully, I have the solution, and it is very easy! In this quick tutorial, I will show you how to easily fix the missing Divi Library modules or layouts issue you may randomly face.

The Problem
When you go to the Divi>Divi Library and select one of the layouts, you may randomly face the problem where the layout is completely missing. It shows a blank section and row without any modules. Even if the layout was global, or completely different column struck, it always shows like in the screenshot below.
When I first faced it, I asked Elegant Themes support about it, thinking there was some major issue on my site. To my complete surprise, they logged in and could see the layouts. This made me realize that they must still be there in the database, but just not showing for me for some strange reason. Even though this seems like a big problem, don’t worry! It is very minor, and the solution is very simple.
The Solution
I hope you like super easy fixes! To solve this issue with the blank Divi Layouts missing their modules, please go to the WordPress dashboard to Settings>Permalinks. Once you are there, don’t change any settings. Instead, simply click the blue “Save Changes” button.
That’s all it takes! Now, when you go back to the Divi Library layout, you will find it is showing again like normal.

I’m still experiencing this issue with a client on both their websites (which I built using same subset of plugins). Strangely I’ve never had this on any other websites I’ve built.
Wondering if it could have something to do with using the divi assistant and the menu functionality, or particularly settings in Divi Assistant. These two combinations seem to be the only common connection between sites where this happens and other sites where it doesn’t.
I guess it’s not a major issue but the client this occurs with generally occurs when they need the functionality the most and it’s a major website for a city of over 100,000 residents so can be a bit of a drag them having to email me to resolve.
Stopping short of giving them access to save the permalinks (which I’m very hesitant to do), do you or the team have any other suggestions?

Please try the following suggestions and see if it helps:
1. Try temporarily disabling just the menu enhancements or any custom header features and monitor if the issue reoccurs.
2. Turn on WP_DEBUG_LOG in wp-config.php and monitor if any errors are logged when the layouts “disappear.” Sometimes, a PHP warning or JS conflict can interrupt layout rendering.
3. Do a plugin-by-plugin check: disable Divi Assistant temporarily on one of the broken sites and see if the issue disappears.
