A Simple But Helpful New Plugin For The Divi Community
As leaders in the Divi community, we feel a special desire to contribute any way we can. We are constantly creating free content as you know, but we also are thinking outside the box. One of the needs I see literally hundreds of times every day is for better communication in the Divi Facebook groups. Often those wanting to help are merely guessing, and it is frustrating for both parties.
The new Divi Support Helper plugin is meant to take some of the initial guesswork away, and enable users to clearly communicate the issues they are facing with their site. This in turn will enable those giving support to more quickly and accurately narrow down the issue and offer advise. We encourage you to watch the video below to learn how the plugin works and what the features do. Also be sure to check out the documentation area for more details.
Overview Of How To Use It
The Divi Support Helper creates a very simple report for you to share with the community or even product support team. All you have to do is install the plugin, activate it, and a new menu item called “Support Helper” appears in your WordPress Dashboard. Click the report, and you come to a page like this:

As you can see, there is a beautiful report that is instantly generated of key information about your website and hosting server.
Sharing The Report
You will also notice two buttons below the report. This gives you two options as to how you want to share the report with others. You can click to copy the report as text on your clipboard, or download the report as an image. You would only want to choose one method, not both.
You can share this report with the community in The Divi Teacher Facebook group or any other group. You may also use this for sending the report to our own support team, or to the Elegant Themes chat support, or even to the support team of other Divi product creators.
Understanding The Items In The Report
To get the most out of the plugin, it will be helpful for you to have at least a basic understanding of what each of the items in the report are. Each of the items listed are things that we felt were important to know to help troubleshoot issues on a users site. Each of these items can be contributing factors or even the main problem in any issue users are facing with their Divi website.
I’m not going to repeat myself and go over all the information here, as this is already included on the product page and in a list of the plugin’s settings and features in the documentation. The best thing to do is read up on them and watch the video here in the post.
If you are want to download this plugin, just go to the Divi Support Helper product page or download it from the Divi Marketplace.
