Family News
March was full of ups and downs. We grieved for our close friends who lost their baby after 36 days in the NICU. Â Then we were sick for a few weeks, and Abrielle got hives one day. We hosted some of our best friends and enjoy watching the 2nd generation of best friends play together. We celebrated Tashia’s grandpa’s 90th birthday (my grandpa is also 90 and they are best friends). Abrielle is loving playing with her aunt’s Border Collie puppies. Reiah is a snugly, adorable, walking-everywhere 1-year-old in just a few days! We are preparing and making plans for camping trips and springtime activities.
Divi News
The big news this month was the release of the Divi 5.0 developer alpha version to select 3rd party developers. This is the new foundation for the future of Divi, and is very exciting. It will require extensive work for us, but we are embracing it for all the opportunities it will bring. At this time they are encouraging us to wait until the developer beta version to start plugin conversions, but we are able to play around with the alpha version, and it is very fast, although very limited in features at this point. We will keep you informed on this! There were also a few minor updates to Divi, but nothing noteworthy.
New Tutorials In March
We released a new Divi tutorial every week as usual for a total of 4 during the month of March. These are always written blog posts and YouTube videos.Â
Product News
Multiple Smaller Updates + More Coming
We released several bug fix and improvement updates to some of our plugins including Divi Responsive Helper, Divi Events Calendar, and Divi Table Of Contents maker. Several updates are coming soon with a few new features and improvements. We are working on making our Divi Carousel Maker demos available for download hopefully this month, and have an update with some new features coming too.
We Are Seriously Close To Releasing Two New Plugins!
I said it last month, but we are truly very close to releasing two plugins. The delay now is figuring out if we want to switch our entire billing/subscription/licensing platform now for the new plugins, or wait and do them all at once. If you signed up for betat testing product PACDA (see link below), you will get an email this month about it!
Product Beta Tester Signup
I have several other Divi and WordPress products in development planned to launch this year. As I was contemplating how to properly allow you to sign up as beta testers, I decided to set up a permanent page on our website. There you will see each product has its own signup form and codename. You are welcome to sign up as a beta tester! We have a few FAQs and instructions on the page. Currently, there are (4) products needing input and/or testers.
