Family News
I’m not sure what happened to April. It seems like we barely had it. Phew! May is already here, with thoughts of camping and evening bike rides. We celebrated Reiah’s third birthday, and she’s incredibly happy with her new kitchen set. We spent Easter with my family all together at my parents’ house, which is always special as it becomes rarer with everyone having families of their own. We also spent another Sunday with Tashia’s family. The girls enjoyed multiple days spent with friends. Abrielle and Reiah were excited to help their aunt welcome two baby horses this month! They love doing barn work, it’s super cute seeing them in their boots and barn clothes mucking stalls and feeding horses. Many days were spent outside, enjoying spring, making fairy gardens, and playing with their little animals in the dirt. Abrielle got invited to her best friend’s 6th birthday party, while mommy, daddy, and Reiah went on a date. We had a little road trip planned, but had to postpone due to sickness. We got a wheat mill and are grinding our own ancient grains for lots of recipes, bread, pancakes, muffins, cookies! Overall, the month flew by, with lots of little moments to remember.

There have not been any updates to Divi 4 in the past five months.
Elegant Themes has released updates to Divi 5 Public Alpha roughly every 2 weeks. The latest updates are listed below:
The new features in Divi 5 so far include Custom Breakpoints, Option Group Presets, Advanced Units, Design Variables, and Nested Rows. They have also provided sneak peeks at Flexblox Layouts, Module Groups, Relative Colors, and Attribute Management.

Product News
Here is all the product news for this month!Â
Divi Plugins
- A lot of things happened this month, but since we are 100% focused on Divi 5 work, there isn’t much to report. However, that will change soon, and the coming months are going to be pretty crazy as we start announcing updates to our plugins for Divi 5.
SurelyWP Addons For SureCart
- We introduced a “Solutions” page for our SurelyWP SureCart addons so you can browse by solution instead of just plugin. (We are working on something similar for our Divi plugins)
- Rebuilt our simple Catalog Mode For SureCart addon into B2B For SureCart, with 5x more features and value. Releasing within days! Inquiry Forms, Quote Builder, Messaging System, Whole Prices, and of course, Catalog Mode.
WP SiteLauncher
- We released another big WP SiteLauncher update this month, with several more on the way. You can view the release notes to keep up to date. You can expect significant updates to continue and we will soon be making videos and sharing huge feature updates. If you haven’t checked it out, be sure to view the only collaboration system built specifically for WordPress!
Behind The Scenes
Divi 5 Progress
Be sure to keep up with our dedicated Divi 5 page with questions and answers for our plugins related to Divi 5. We continue to make steady progress in this exhausting effort. We are excited to be getting close to the official releases of several plugins, and we will make announcements when they are available.
As I said before, we are waiting on Elegant Themes for several key things before we can move forward with any releases.
Child Themes Are Retired, Except In The Membership
All of our child themes have been retired as standalone products and are now considered legacy items. We are no longer offering individual purchases for any of our child themes. All legacy child themes are now only available through the Divi Adventure Club membership. While you’re welcome to use them as part of the membership, please note they are provided as-is and are not actively updated.
Why the change?
- The child theme market is oversaturated and no longer aligns with where Divi is headed, especially with built-in AI features and premade layouts.
- Many themes rely on the Easy Demo Import system, which is not compatible with Divi 5. While importing with Divi 4 and upgrading later may still work, this is not a long-term solution.
- We’re focusing our efforts on updating and creating new popular plugins and learning resources that provide more value in the modern Divi environment.
If you’d still like access to this theme, you can get it (along with everything else we’ve created) by joining the Divi Adventure Club membership.
New Plugins In Progress
We are currently developing two new plugins, with two others in progress, pending further development of Divi 5. I am also finalizing plans for a fifth plugin. I’m really excited about these projects! Additionally, I look forward to moving past Divi 5 so we can start adding new features to all of our existing plugins. We have a substantial backlog of ideas for each one. Let us know if you have ideas for new addons, specifically with Divi 5 features in mind.
Tutorials And Courses
Someone asked if we are going to update our Divi Beginner Course for Divi 5. The answer is yes, but we have not created much Divi 5 content yet since it is in development and still changing a lot. With video content, the moment you create something, it can quickly become outdated, especially with the new features being introduced in Divi 5. I’m focused on updating our plugins for Divi 5. This has been an extremely exhausting experience, leaving me with little time to think about creating an updated course. I believe that once Divi 5 stabilizes and reaches its final release, I will have something like a comprehensive Divi beginner course available through tutorials on the blog and a free Trial Guide (our guided collections of tutorials). Let me know what kind of content you hope to see in the future!
Nelson,
On the divi 5 (D5) training subject. I’ve been working with D5 and enjoying it immensely.
However we’re gonna need you for training and best practices bro.
So, as you said, do it last and after you determine what’s really needed and important.
We appreciate you.
Thanks Carmine, I appreciate that feedback as I plan resources!
