Family News
We started August well with a trip to the mountains with my extended family. We enjoyed the campfire, swimming in an extremely cold mountain creek, and waterfalls. Nothing out of the ordinary happened for the rest of the month. We took the girls to some new playgrounds, had some playdates with friends, and enjoyed the water slide a little more before the weather turned cool. Reiah is potty training, Abrielle attended VBS, and is back into amazing LEGO builds. Tashia enjoyed a girls’ day with her mom and sisters. We went on several coffee dates, and I continued helping my uncle and cousin on their fruit farm after the passing of my aunt. A lot of my time this month was on prototyping an invention, which I’ll share more about in the coming months. Oh, and I’m developing a road trip app, I should be able to share more about that also soon. We ended the month with a house full of friends.

Product News
Here is all the product news for this month!Â
Divi Plugins
In August, we continued working on converting our plugins to Divi 5. Most of them are now available for beta testing. We’d love to hear how it’s going! If you encounter any bugs, please report them using the new “Divi 5 Beta Test Bug Report” option in our main support form. We keep the files updated frequently, so be sure to download the latest copies from the community when testing.
NEW! We’re Making Addons for Fluent Plugins
We are secretly creating powerful, thoughtfully designed addons that enhance the Fluent plugin ecosystem. Think of things like FluentCRM enhancements! We have many features built, and will do a soft launch in the coming months, but I wanted you to be the first to know about this. Please feel free to visit FluentlyWP and suggest a feature or sign up for our email list. Â
SurelyWP Addons For SureCart
Behind the scenes at SurelyWP, we have been preparing a full settings UI update, with a new interface and even an import/export feature to make setting up your sites easier. This will be announced very soon. We are also working on the largest add-on update to date, which we hope to release this month.Â
WP SiteLauncher
A lot of progress was made on the backend of WP SiteLauncher, as we are rebuilding everything for some big surprises. I’m very happy with the direction things are going, and anxious to announce the new parent brand and new plugins coming related website management and support. As a PSA, anyone who purchases a lifetime plan now will be grandfathered into the new brand and plugins.
WP Inbox Connect
We moved beyond Gmail and added Outlook and Zoho Mail integration for our WP Inbox Connect! These were the top to feature requests for inboxes, and we are happy to hear they are loved. You can check out the new integration using outlook.com and zoho.com on the web with the existing WP Inbox Connect Chrome extension installed.Â
Behind The Scenes
Last month, we announced the new “License Keys” page and improvements in our account, and we’re so glad it’s making things easier for you. We also improved the speed of the account area, which I know everyone appreciates.
Along with that, we are making some significant changes to how our plugins work and connect to your account. Our new interface will feature a more obvious way to add your license key (and locate your key), as well as several other technical improvements that address issues related to site migration. The new interface can be seen in the beta version of our Divi Assistant plugin, which by the way…
Divi Assistant 2.0 Is Alllllmmmooost Here…
I was literally doing my final test of the Divi Assistant upgrade process to Divi 5 before sending this newsletter. I have a lot of blog posts ready to go, so look for the news on our blog, in your inbox, on our YouTube page, in our Facebook group, and in the private community very soon.
Divi 5 Progress: Ready to Beta Test!
We have mentioned this every month recently, but we still receive questions daily about whether and when our plugins will be compatible with Divi 5. The time is very close. Many of our plugins are available for beta testing with Divi 5! Please be sure to check the new “Divi 5 Compatibility” doc in each plugin documentation area. This is where we will continually update details and share the status and notes about that particular plugin.
We are also implementing a new versioning system to make it easier to test our beta plugins. For example, if a plugin like Divi Assistant was on 1.3.14 for Divi 4, then it will become 2.0.0 for Divi 5. So the beta version will add one more digit, 2.0.0.x, which is the beta build number. That’s the number we will look for when reporting bugs, so be sure to keep that number in mind and check if it matches the latest one from the Divi 5 doc.
Divi 5 Compatibility Guides:
- Divi Assistant
- Divi Contact Form Helper
- Divi Events Calendar
- Divi Taxonomy Helper
- Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker
- Divi Dynamic Helper
- Divi Responsive Helper
- Divi Table Of Contents Maker
These all have a beta version available to test with Divi 5, but please check the notes in each plugin’s docs before testing. You can also check our dedicated Divi 5 page for general status updates and links to each of those individual plugin docs.
To clarify, we are still awaiting several key items from Elegant Themes before we can proceed with any official and final releases. Their team indicated that a system to mark plugins as compatible with Divi 4 or Divi 5 is coming, so we are anxious to take advantage of that and release updates and new plugins.
Divi 4 To Divi 5 Trail Guide
I just started working on a new Divi 4 To Divi 5 Trail Guide, which will be a collection of blog posts that help you navigate the key changes and workflow updates when moving from Divi 4 to Divi 5. It’s a work in progress, so let me know what topics you want to see!
