Family News
We had snow on the ground most of February, which is a little unusual for Pennsylvania, since it normally melts after a week, but not this year. I learned how to make freshly ground ginger, lemon, and cinnamon tea, great for viruses. Tashia’s family always gets together for a themed “I Love You Day” meal, which was nice. We played with LEGOs a lot this month; the girls always make funny, creative things. I made a circus for them with different kinds of animals and motion by turning just one crank, which was a hit, and Abrielle quickly caught on to using the Technique gears. The girls played in the snow, mud, rain, and sunshine, all in one month. I got Tashia two “all border” puzzles, and while it may sound easy, the pieces are crazy, and the first one is finally done, but very challenging.
Divi News
As you probably saw, Divi 5 is officially here! The Elegant Themes team continues to fix bugs and focus on the migration process for existing Divi 4 sites.
This can cause a lot of pressure and anxiety, so I created a series of guides organized in our Divi 4 To Divi 5 Trail Guide, to help think through and work through this transition:
Each lesson stands on its own, but as a series, it walks you through the entire transition. We start by understanding why the change had to happen, and move into adapting to the new interface and editing workflows. Then we walk through the actual migration process. After that, we explore the new features as an overview, making sure you understand what is available, but without any pressure or urgency to immediately know everything about using them.
Product News
Here is all the product news for this month!
This month, it’s been so exciting being able to work on NEW features in our plugins. We successfully completed the rebuild of most of our plugins, and now we are free to plan what comes next, including new plugins. We have already released several big features for divi 5, and there are going to be several big announcements in March.
Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker – Compatible With Divi 5!
We are happy to announce that another plugin has been rebuilt and is fully compatible with Divi! Now you can use Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker on Divi 4 or Divi 5! And we have new features planned for this plugin, so we’ll let you know when that happens.
Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker – Compatible With Divi 5!
Another plugin is also fully compatible iwth Divi 5! Now you can build advanced tabs in Divi 5 with Divi Tabs Maker.
Divi Custom Fields Merged With Divi Dynamic Content Helper
The Divi Custom Fields Helper plugin has been retired, and all its features have been fully merged into Divi Dynamic Content Helper, our advanced dynamic content plugin for Divi power-users.
In version 2.1, you’ll notice a new Custom Fields tab in the settings with subtabs for enabling and controlling:
- A clever Custom Fields panel inside the Divi Builder
- Role-based access control for that window
- Role-based access control for the WordPress backend custom fields
We’ll have more info in a separate email.
New Divi Responsive Helper Features!
I’m having so much fun creating these new features to improve responsive editing in Divi 5. If you missed it, we released these features in January:
- Disable inline content editing on selected Divi 5 breakpoints
- Choose whether fields are shown, disabled, or hidden per breakpoint In the Responsive Editor window
- Display clear breakpoint labels next to fields inside the Responsive Editor window
- Highlight the active breakpoint and field using the Divi Builder accent color
- Show a “Current” badge to reduce confusion and accidental edits
- Prevent inline content editing while viewing the Hover state
- Control Hover field behavior inside the Responsive Editor window
Just last week, we released more features:
- Automatically add fluid text that scales smoothly across all screen widths
- Replace the breakpoint icon bar with a labeled “Current Breakpoint” dropdown
- Highlight the active breakpoint icon using the builder’s accent color
And yes, we are working on many more related features! If these sound interesting, check out Divi Responsive Helper, reborn for Divi 5!
New Save For Later Feature And Admin Tools
We released a very cool feature for our Fluently Marketing, the ability to save products in your cart for later, just like stores like Amazon. The Fluently Toolkit got an update with lots of new features, like custom thank you pages, restrict the number of purchase per product or customer, an order again button, and a cancel subscription button in the FluentCart account.
Reviews For Services And 20+ Admin Tools
We are excited to inlcude reviews integration in our Services for SureCart addon, allowing you to prompt customers to leave a review after a service order is completed. And we released the a long list of 20+ key admin tools in the Toolkit for SureCart addon!
Behind The Scenes
A Big Sigh Of Relief
I want to give a heartfelt thanks to so many of you who have shared encouraging notes with me over the past year. It was very difficult, but there’s a very real sense of relief now, as we can finally move forward again after almost two years of rebuilding plugins.
Lots Of Good News!
Last month, I shared very sad news that we were not currently pursuing rebuilding Divi Carousel Maker due to the financial stress and the fact that Divi now has carousels. Well, Ihave huge news! I talked with the head of development, the very amazing Josh Ronk, probably the nicest guy you could ever meet, and after some pointed questions about the future focus of Divi, I feel encouraged and rejuvinated to continue developing Divi Carousel Maker and not only convert it to Divi 5 but to “make it awesome” as I discussed with him and my team. We are doing the initial check into the best way to convert this, as you know, this is a very unique plugin in how it works, and while doing that, we may have some surprises in store, so we’ll leave that for now and keep you updated.
The Divi Events Calendar is completed for Divi 5! We are in final testing! Please be patient, and keep checking the status in our docs. There could be several rounds of back and forth with the QA process, but this is amazing news.
Since Divi 5 has launched, I completely updated our dedicated Divi 5 page to include notes about each plugin’s status!
Our new, long-awaited, and most popular request multi-step form feature for Divi Contact Form Helper is completed and in testing and refinement phases, and will be released as soon as possible!
We are devloping several new pluigns for Divi 5! More on that in our next newsletter.
There are other things happening behind the scenes related to some of my general WordPress products which I have not talked about lately, as I am trying to contain my excitement, so just keep checking back and there will be some surprises soon.

It’s always incredible to see the amount of work you and your team are completing each month in your newsletters. Your plugins are the most reliable plugins I use in Divi. Thanks for the hard work.
Thank you Dax! That’s really great to hear, that’s solid feedback!
