Family News
January 2025 is already history, which is hard to believe! It’s been bitter cold in Pennsylvania for most of the month. We were happy to receive two snowstorms, both sleddable. The girls enjoyed sledding with their cousins and jumping on the trampoline in 7 inches of snow. They also enjoyed visiting the Pennsylvania Farm Show, which is the largest indoor agricultural event in America. The girls enjoy seeing the animals and being there with friends. Tashia got to be with her little sister for her birth, and they enjoyed some cozy days together as sisters, three of which have tiny babies and first-time mothers. She also spent an evening with her grandpa with her cousins playing music and singing, which is his favorite thing. Meanwhile, I spent that evening with my cousin at an auto show, something out of character for me but also interesting! We thought my mom was having a medical emergency, and I rushed over and spent a day in the emergency room, but thankfully all is perfectly fine now. We rounded the month off by taking turns being sick and are trying to recover.

Divi News
There have not been any updates to Divi 4 in the past two months.
Elegant Themes has released updates to Divi 5 Public Alpha roughly every 2 weeks. The latest updates are listed below:
Perhaps the most important news is that Divi is making incredible progress on some much-requested major new features in Divi 5. These include custom breakpoints and option group presets, which I’ll try to share more about on the blog. It sounds like they are making very fast progress on new features now that the main migration work is completed.
To keep up with the latest Divi 5 news, especially about our own plugin development progress, visit our Divi 5 page, which will always have the latest information.
New Tutorials In January
We released a new tutorial about adding the Bluesky icon to the Divi Social Follow module, as well as to our Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker plugin, which now has the Bluesky option.

Product News
Here is all the product news for this month!
Continuous Improvement Updates
We didn’t have any major feature updates this month, but we are working on two very exciting updates that are going to come as a big welcome surprise. More on those next month, hopefully!
We did release quite a lot of small updates as usual though, as we are literally always making improvements to each of our Divi plugins.
- We fixed some bugs related to the new custom breakpoints feature in Divi Responsive Helper.
- We improved some entry export features in Divi Contact Form Helper.
- We added the Bluesky network to Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker.
- We added customizer Primary Color, Secondary Color, Heading Color, and Body Color to the Global Colors in the Styles Helper in Divi Assistant.
- We added lots of new accessibility improvements in Divi Assistant.
Renamed WP Inbox Connect!
Probably our most underrated product just got a brand update! Re-introducing WP Inbox Connect! Adding the word “Connect” makes what it actually is and does much clearer. This unique product is a WordPress plugin that organizes and syncs data from your website and displays contextual information about the person in the sidebar of your inbox app while viewing or replying to messages from your customers, students, subscribers, donors, members, and commenters. We’ll announce some new feature updates soon!
Two Big Updates To Services For SureCart
We just released two huge updates to our Services for SureCart addon. Version 1.4 introduces the requirement form on product pages, and version 1.5 enables recurring services through the customer dashboard, allowing a set number of service requests per billing cycle. More features are on the way, including a Milestones feature and Resources feature, with plans to expand into Coaching Calls, Consultations, and more!
Behind The Scenes
It seems like December and January are slower in some ways, but that can be a good thing. It felt busy for me because I had more opportunities to catch up on projects and behind-the-scenes work, as well as plans for the new year.
We spent a lot of time in January preparing two big updates to our Divi plugins, one of which should be released this month. If you like making advanced websites with Divi and dynamic content, you will like this new feature.
Steady work continues on Divi 5, and this month we made huge progress on Divi Contact Form Helper and Divi Events Calendar, with tons of exciting things to share there. We can now place all the new field types into the field type dropdown (hurray for Divi 5!), and we can now render our custom settings in the builder. How epic is that? It takes more work, and we are still working with the Elegant Themes team to make sure they provide everything we need for that in their codebase.
Between Christmas and New Year’s, I spent most of my time fully immersed in WP SiteLauncher, our recently announced WordPress plugin. I carefully thought through every aspect of it, creating over 50 tasks for my team with changes and new features listed on our roadmap, and they are almost completed with this list. The next update will greatly improve every aspect of the plugin, bringing it to a very mature level.
