Family News
June started so lovely, sunny in the seventies. We found an awesome nature center in Maryland that we somehow never knew about and thoroughly enjoyed, with a playground, ponds, hiking trails, and lots of raptors. Tashia loved it, and the girls love that kind of thing. We enjoyed a lovely extended weekend camping with my family, away from the internet for 4 days. It’s the one time a year I can totally turn off screens and focus 100% on being outside with family, and it’s something I highly recommend to anyone who works online or spends all their time on screens. Our friends invited us to play Ticket To Ride Legacy: Legends of the West, a crazy 12-session board game. So that is now on the table, so to speak. Sadly, my dad was hospitalized for a week with cellulitis and surgery, but he is recovering well. We explored another nature center and park with friends (Wildwood Park / Olewine Nature Center in Harrisburg) and enjoyed another evening at a local park, both great ways to end the month.Â

In June, Elegant Themes released more bug fixes and some new features. Some highlights include the new image aspect ratio settings and five new modules. You can check their two release posts here for more details:

I’m still waiting to see how their new Divi AI Agent will be received. Nick demonstrated it in a YouTube teaser video. It’s a chat mode that lets you use natural language to build within the Divi Builder, which is a great idea since it would be using the actual Divi Builder modules and features instead of just “vibe coding it with Claude” or whatever the gurus are saying. I hope it can serve as a balanced bridge between humans and AI.

New Support Access Feature In All Divi 5 Plugins
We have added a super convenient temporary support access feature to each of our plugins. Now you can go to the plugin screen and click the support icon on the top right corner, and you will see a page with a link directly to our support form and a temporary login feature. This feature is the same as we had in Divi Assistant for years, but now expanded ot each plugin. Now whenever you need technical help, we can save everyone time and back-and-forth and security check what we need to get isolated issues resolved quickly.Â
New “View Details” Popup In Plugin List
When you are viewing your plugin list on your WordPress site, each of our plugins now has a “View Details” link that opens the familiar window with a banner, description, and changelog, just like plugins from the WordPress.org repository. Now you can clickly access our docs, product page, support, and see the changelog from the plugins’ list!
Visual Conditional Email Address Routing in Divi Contact Form Helper
We are super happy to share that Divi Contact Form Helper now offers a great visual/native Divi UI logic builder for configuring conditional email address routing. This update also includes multiple email addresses. I’ll share more about this in a blog post and video soon, but I wanted to let you know this is available now!Â
Smart Search Matching in Divi Search Helper
I’m super proud of this one. Instead of relying on AI, we actually programmed a much smarter search feature in Divi Search Helper. Just enable it in the Divi Search module, and get much better results when users type with natural language. More info will come in a blog post and video soon!
New Networks In Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker
We recently added Threads and SMS / Text Message as new sharing buttons in Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker! In addition, we added new AI buttons for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Copilot, Grok, Google AI, and Perplexity. These allow you to add a custom prompt like “summarize this post” which opens in the relevant AI chat tool.
Product Variants, Catalog Mode, And Inquiry Form Restrictions By User Role
We released a major update to the B2B For SureCart addon, adding new restriction options for SureCart product variants. You can now restrict any variable by user role or SureMembers access group. We also released new settings that allow you to set Catalog Mode products and Inquiry Forms based on user role.

Shout Out To Sumaira
This month, I was away a lot due to my dad’s illness and some other unfortunate situations with extended family, and I wanted to take this opportunity to shout out to Sumaira, who helps me with product support. She has now been working for me part-time for 3 years! I’m super grateful for her help as a go-between for customers and developers, keeping everything moving along when I’m sleeping, away, or busy on other tasks.

After a hard month of not being able to focus much on work, I am back and have 6 blog posts ready to publish and record videos, and a few more after that. I hope to do at least 2 per month. When I try for more, I tend ot get burned out, so I want to be realistic and see how it goes.Â

July will bring some exciting announcements, including the official release of Divi Carousel Maker for Divi 5. QA and migration are now complete, so it’s just a matter of finishing the admin work and releasing it!
There will also be a very exciting update to Divi Dynamic Content Helper… should I tease it? Hmm…maybe YouTube/external videos as Divi background videos? 🙂Â
