Pee-Aye Creative Monthly Newsletter For March 2025

Nelson Miller Profile Orange
Welcome to the Pee-Aye Creative monthly newsletter recap for the month of February 2025 with family, Divi, and product news.

Family News

In March, we experienced some unusually warm days filled with sunshine. The girls really enjoyed playing outside, digging in the dirt, creating chalk drawings, riding bikes, and bouncing on the trampoline. On one of those beautiful days, we took the opportunity to explore Rocks State Mark in Maryland, which features a waterfall, a gorge, and large rock outcroppings! Tashia and the girls also had some “girls’ days” with her sisters and spent another day making donuts with grandma. We hosted some friends over on a Sunday for games and spent another wonderful day getting to know a great family we met at church. As a family, we’re currently working on a large, humerous LEGO build that we think is worthy of being on LEGO Master!

Product News

Here is all the product news for this month!

Graphic discussing Services Addon for SureCart and SurelyWP

The past few months have been a period of significant improvement for our WP SiteLauncher plugin. We have released updates and have several more currently in QA, and everything is progressing well. The feedback we receive from you is what makes creating this tool so rewarding, and it’s incredibly encouraging to hear how it is helping you build websites for your clients!

(11) New Features In Our Toolkit For SureCart Plugin

This month, we released another massive update to our Toolkit for SureCart addon. This plugin is a collection of incredibly helpful tools for store admins. The update includes new features like custom admin columns, order management improvements, customer dashboard tab customizations (including new tabs), role-based login redirects, more FluentCRM integrations, and individual price option descriptions.

Behind The Scenes

Divi 5 Progress

We continue to get asked about Divi 5. We have a dedicated Divi 5 page with questions and answers for our plugins related to Divi 5, so please check there often. I try to keep it updated. Some of you are interested in beta testing, and you can learn how to do that there. I need to be honest here, we are waiting on Elegant Themes more and more. We are trying our best to be patient as we collaborate with them on what they need to implement in Divi core in order for us to finish our plugins. It’s been a long, wearisome process for everyone. However, we have had some good wins this month and made some significant progress on some of our plugins. The Events Feed module in our Divi Events Calendar plugin is completely finished, which is a huge milestone. Using the Divi Table Of Contents Maker as an example, we successfully tested a clever way to support both Divi 4 and Divi 5 within the same plugin file, and it worked perfectly. Divi Contact Form Helper is far along, but again, we are waiting on critical missing pieces in Divi itself in order to proceed.

New Community Platform

I have been setting up a new community area on our website using FluentCommunity. At this point, I think it is configured properly for all the correct access. There is a general discussion area, as well as areas for Divi Adventure Club members, and each product has its own discussion area to keep things focused. We will also have our beta files of each plugin in those specific discussion tabs. You can access the community any time at  https://www.peeayecreative.com/community/

Big Update Coming

Last month, I teased a huge update coming to one of our existing plugins. We are continuing to perfect it, as it was a lot bigger than we first expected and 10x more powerful than I realized. I’m excited for the day I get to announce four completely new features, two of which have about 50 subfeatures.

Child Themes Future?

We are currently discussing the future of child themes. They seem to have lost their value and are barely selling due to the prevalence of premade layouts, a saturated market, and the impact of AI. I’m uncertain whether to retire them and keep them available for members or allow them to continue for a bit longer. While child themes cannot be imported into Divi 5, they can be imported into Divi 4, and once that’s done, everything works perfectly if you switch to Divi 5.

New Plugins In Progress

We are actively working on 2 new plugins with 2 others in progress (but pending further Divi 5 development). I am finalizing plans for a fifth one.  I’m so excited about them! And also excited to get past Divi 5 so we can start adding new features to all of our current plugins, with a huge backlog of ideas for each one.

Please don’t remove the child themes! Or if you do, maybe give a drop date so I can download them, please? They are unique and I just joined so I have only used one. They’re great!

Thanks for your feedback! If we did stop selling them directly, we would at least keep them available for members as legacy products. We will wait and see as mostly this decision is based on Divi 5 and the import system.
