Family News
September was a gorgeous month, and we made the most of it. We spent some time at Devil’s Den in Gettysburg, climbing the huge boulders there. We spent another evening at Caledonia State Park with Tashia’s sister and husband. Then we went on a long roadtrip to visit some dear friends in Michigan. It was a lovely time with them, as well as an opportunity to explore many waterfalls, nature centers, playgrounds, and bike paths on the way there and back. The photo is at Erie Bluff’s State Park, overlooking Lake Erie (look really hard to see Canada! JK) I learned that northeast Ohio has some awesome parks, like literally hundreds of them. Sadly, we had some serious car trouble that left us a bit stranded, as well as a broken rooftop crossbar that was holding on our bike rack and bikes, and our hosting server went down for a few hours, all in the same day. Thankfully, we made it home safely and are using a loaner while getting the car repaired.

Divi Assistant 2.0 Is Here!
After a long journey of rebuilding our plugins from Divi 4 to Divi 5, we are excited to announce that our powerful plugin Divi Assistant is now fully compatible with Divi 5! 🎉 This marks a major milestone for us and for the Divi community.
The updated version of Divi Assisant will continue to work with Divi 4, but you can now also use it with Divi 5. Moving forward, all new features will be added to the Divi 5 version only. This update also introduces our new Universal Divi Plugin Interface, which all our Pee-Aye Creative plugins will be adopting. Divi Assistant is our very first plugin to fully step into the new Divi 5 era.

Introducing The Divi Custom Fields Helper Plugin!
If you work with custom fields in Divi, you know how much time is spent switching between the backend and the builder. In Divi 5, that problem gets even bigger because the Divi backend editor is going away. That’s where our brand-new Divi Custom Fields Helper plugin comes in.
This powerful tool lets you view and edit custom fields right inside the Divi 5 Builder, so you never have to leave the builder to make updates. It also has a separate feature for controlling which user roles can see and edit custom fields in the WordPress backend.

NEW! We’re Making Addons for Fluent Plugins
You’re the first to know about our secret project! We are creating a new brand of addons that are powerful and thoughtfully designed to enhance the Fluent plugin ecosystem. Our first addon is completed and ready to launch, but we are waiting to sell it using the new FluentCart plugin, as we naturally want to use their ecommerce plugin on that website. Please feel free to visit FluentlyWP and suggest a feature or sign up for our email list.
A Fresh New Settings Experience Across All Our SurelyWP Addons
Big things continue happening at SurelyWP with a major UI revamp to all of our addons, setting a fresh foundation for lots of new things to come. The import/export feature is also huge for setting up plugins quickly on multiple sites.
Introducing Insights for SureCart
We also introduced Insights For SureCart, our revamped Email Reports addon, now with 5x more features like Order Insights, Subscription Insights, Customer Journey Tracking, Analytics Integration, and improved Email Reports.
WP SiteLauncher
It was a good month of progress on the backend API of WP SiteLauncher, as we are quietly rebuilding the backend so that we can reveal something that every WordPress site will want to have installed. We need some more time to prepare all that, but it involves a new parent brand and new related plugins for the lifecycle of a WordPress website, including management and support. To be fair, I’m letting you know exclusively here that anyone who purchases a lifetime plan now will be grandfathered into the entire suite.
WP Inbox Connect
We moved beyond Gmail and added Outlook and Zoho Mail integration for our WP Inbox Connect! These were the top to feature requests for inboxes, and we are happy to hear they are loved. You can check out the new integration using outlook.com and zoho.com on the web with the existing WP Inbox Connect Chrome extension installed.
Behind The Scenes
Introducing Our New Universal UI
We’ve been planning and building something special behind the scenes, and today, I’m excited to finally reveal our brand-new universal user interface that will be rolled out across all our Divi plugins. This update is not just a visual upgrade. Instead, it’s a big step forward in improving how you interact with our products. Be sure to check the blog post and video to see why we think you’re going to love it.
Divi 5 Plugin Beta Progress
In September, we continued working on converting our plugins to Divi 5. Most of them are now available for beta testing. We’d love to hear how it’s going! If you encounter any bugs, please report them using the new “Divi 5 Beta Test Bug Report” option in our main support form. We keep the files updated frequently, so be sure to download the latest copies from the community when testing.
We also implemented a new versioning system to make it easier to test our beta plugins. For example, if a plugin like Divi Assistant was on 1.3.14 for Divi 4, then it will become 2.0.0 for Divi 5. So the beta version will add one more digit, 2.0.0.x, which is the beta build number. That’s the number we will look for when reporting bugs, so be sure to keep that number in mind and check if it matches the latest one from the Divi 5 doc.
Divi 5 Plugin Compatibility Status:
- Divi Assistant – Completed
- Divi Custom Fields Helper – Completed
- Divi Contact Form Helper – 98% Completed
- Divi Events Calendar – 90% Completed
- Divi Taxonomy Helper -98% Completed
- Divi Social Sharing Buttons Maker – 98% Completed
- Divi Dynamic Helper – 99% Release
- Divi Responsive Helper – 98% Completed
- Divi Table Of Contents Maker – 98% Completed
- Divi Search Helper – 90% Completed
These all have a beta version available to test with Divi 5, but please check the notes in each plugin’s docs before testing. You can also check our dedicated Divi 5 page for general status updates and links to each of those individual plugin docs.
Good news, the Divi Marketplace introduced checkboxes for product creators to mark products as Divi 4 and/or Divi 5 compatible. It’s hard to see, but its there in the sidebar. Some users have requested a filter, which might be a good idea.
