As a small company, we had the choice to abandon Divi or rebuild all our plugins from scratch for Divi 5 to remain relevant in the future. We chose the difficult option—to invest extensive time, energy, and financial resources into developing everything for Divi 5. How does this plugin work?
The Divi Dynamic Content Helper plugin adds the missing dynamic content icon and functionality to the supported existing Divi modules using advanced programming code in the backend. There are very basic settings in the Theme Options to enable or disable the feature for each of the supported modules, but otherwise it just works automatically when the plugin is active. Please check out our documentation page for more info on all the features.
Does this affect 3rd party modules?
The Divi Dynamic Content Helper plugin does not add any functionality to 3rd party modules created by other developers. It would be impossible to implement and support all the modules from other developers, and would not make sense for us to add features to their plugins. Our plugin only adds dynamic content features to the supported existing Divi modules.
Does the gallery work with ACF Pro?
Yes, we added support for the ACF PRO Gallery field in version 1.1. Please check the version 1.1 release post/video to learn more.
Do I need to use shortcode for library items?

Why use custom fields?
Using custom fields has many benefits, depending on the type of site you are creating. Custom fields are essential for many sites that use custom post types. The main thing is when the page or post has lots of content that needs to be updated by a client, and using custom fields prevents anything from getting messed up in the Divi Builder layout. It can also be a very convenient way to avoid opening the builder and searching for the module to make changes.

Is this plugin compatible with Divi 5?
Yes, Divi Dynamic Content Helper is fully compatible with Divi 5 while continuing to work with Divi 4.
If you are still using the Divi 4 theme, you can continue using the latest version of the plugin, and everything will work as before. We will continue to support the Divi 4 version with maintenance updates and bug fixes. All new main features will be developed for Divi 5 only moving forward.
If you are upgrading from Divi 4 to Divi 5, the same plugin file will continue to work, and your existing settings will be migrated to the new backend interface in Divi 5. We recommend reviewing your settings after the update to make sure everything is configured as expected.
If you are installing the plugin for the first time on a Divi 5 site, simply install the latest version and get started right away. You will now have access to the new backend settings interface and the full Divi 5 editing experience, now with visual builder support for our settings.
What license options are available?
We offer three license options so you can choose what works best for your projects: Annual Unlimited, Lifetime Single, and Lifetime Unlimited. The Annual Unlimited license gives you unlimited website usage for as long as your license remains active, while the Lifetime Single license gives you lifetime use on one website without recurring payments. The Lifetime Unlimited license gives you lifetime use on unlimited websites. You can also use our licenses on client websites where permitted by the license terms. Can I try the plugin before I buy?
Yes! Every product page includes access to our admin demo sandbox, where you can test the plugin on a temporary WordPress installation with Divi and our other plugins already installed. You can configure the plugin and try its features just as you would on your own site, giving you a chance to make sure it works the way you need before purchasing. Can I upgrade my license later?
Yes! You don't have to commit to a lifetime or unlimited license right away. If you start with an Annual Unlimited or Lifetime Single license and later decide you need more, you can upgrade directly from your account. Our upgrade system automatically applies a prorated credit for what you've already paid, so you only pay the difference for the new license.

We've completely upgraded our plugins for Divi 5 while continuing to support the Divi 4 version, and you don't need to manage separate plugin versions or downloads. Each plugin uses a single plugin file that works with both Divi 4 and Divi 5, and includes migration support to help you transition from Divi 4 to Divi 5 when you're ready.
We've put a tremendous amount of time and care into preparing our plugins for the future of Divi while continuing to support customers who are still using Divi 4. We are actively developing new features and improvements for Divi 5, while continuing to maintain the Divi 4 version so your existing sites keep working as you make the transition at your own pace.

I bought the ACF Pro plugin for the gallery-feature, and was a bit disappointed that there was no easy way to display the images in Divi. The Divi Support team first suggested some unsatisfying solutions, but then advised me to take a look at this plugin. Wow! This Plugin is awesome and going to save SO much time. We have a bunch of audio throughout our site and use page templates and dynamic content to fill everything in. Since Divi’s Audio Modules don’t have a dynamic option, I’ve been stuck making individual audio modules in the Divi Library, then using a shortcode to bring that module into the post. So tedious and a pain if we ever decided to change the look of the audio module. Just got this bad-boy installed, created a new ‘File’ custom field up in ACF, set that field to the Audio Modules NEW dynamic content option, and BAM! Works like a charm. Going to save TONS of time in the future and can’t wait to implement this option with our videos. Thank you for making this!
