Behind The Scenes
Over the past few years our business has outgrown what I can handle by myself. With a young family now, Tashia spends much less time helping with the business. And the ideas never stop, and our excitement keeps growing for the future of our work and the Divi Community. Current product updates, support, and free weekly tutorials are my top priority, along with an epic secret project we are working on now. I spend far too many hours each week creating free tutorials, answering support emails, replying to comments, creating products and resources, and managing new product development.
Searching For Help
A few months ago I finally made the decision to hire an assistant. I began asking for help and assigning small tasks to several people with the intention of finding a good fit. Last year, Hemant answered a unique opportunity to help with some Divi related writing and coding work, and I was impressed by his unique combination of skills. We have continued to work together ever since, and a few months ago we made it official.
Hemant has his hand in just about everything that I do now, from writing tutorials, writing documentation for our products, answering support questions, replying to comments on the blog, brainstorming ideas, and working on client projects. It seems he completes any task as soon as I assign it to him. Hemant has worked for Elegant Themes, and I consider him a Divi specialist, so he fits in quite well here. He is an excellent frontend developer, and is doing fantastic learning more backend programming skills. (Soon I am going to showcase some of his work on a website we created for our family, and you will see what I mean about his skills!) He does a great job at writing both words and code. We schedule our blog post tutorials/videos in advance, and just recently some of the tutorials that I have published have been made possible because of his contributions. Hemant is super kind and helpful in answering support questions, and always has a solution. Many of you have already received helpful replies to your blog post comments. You will also start to see him reply to your product support messages more as he becomes comfortable with our products and will also manage support in my absence.
Credit Where Credit Is Due
Hemant is now a big part of the team behind the scenes, but the work Hemant does for me and Pee-Aye Creative goes mostly unnoticed in the background. I consider that unfortunate, so I asked him if he would be willing to share and answer a few questions so you could get to know him a little, and he humbly agreed. So without rambling too much more, I need to get to the real reason for this post! Meet Hemant, our awesome new team member who can do pretty much anything and everything! Please give him a warm welcome in the comment section! 🙂
