Family News
June was full of many adventures. We took a break and went on our annual camping trip with my parents, siblings, and friends families. The girls love camping and being outside so much, and it was a wonderful time together riding bike, playing in the creek, campfires, volleyball, and so much more. We helped my parents redesign their flower beds and landscaping, which was quite a lot of fun getting outside and using our creative skills in a different way. We went to an adventure farm with some of Abrielle’s fiends, which was basically a farm with homemade playgrounds and animals. And we had more LEGO fun, Tashia took engagement photos for her sister, went to a cousin’s wedding, and enjoyed a cookout with friends
Divi News
There was a smaller Divi update to version 4.21.1 on June 27th. It has some pretty important fixes and improvements, but no new features. Nick Roach shared a sneak peek in the Divi Theme Users Facebook group of the upcoming AI features for generating text, images, and code. It looks pretty nice, and I expect that to be announced in July.
Regarding Divi 5 progress, the 7th and 8th iteration of the Dev Alpha has been released in June, and they are planning the 9th around the middle of July. The Dev Alpha is coming soon, which will be a more solidified structure of the foundational code, and that is when we will be able to start rebuilding our modules.
New Tutorials In June
We released a new Divi tutorial every week as usual for a total of 5 during the month of June. These are always written blog posts and YouTube videos.Â
- How To Create A Carousel Using Any Divi Modules
- How To Add Fancy Animated Text Link Underlines In Divi
- How To Show Headings, Dividers, Text, Images, Links, And More In An HTML Field In The Divi Contact Form
- How To Make A Tabbed Divi Blog Grid By Category
- How To Make A Slider Using Divi Sections Or Rows That You Design As Slides
In June I was the guest speaker for the Divi Toronto Meetup. I presented a summary of dynamic content including things like default dynamic content options, theme builder templates, conditions, custom fields, links, dynamic modules, post types, and taxonomies.
The second half was a special behind the scenes look at my family’s website https://millerfamilyadventure.com/ and how we are using dynamic content is some crazy ways with our free custom blog module, Divi Dynamic Helper, Divi Taxonomy Helper, including showing nearby places and even ACF relationships. A lot of decisions are taking place behind the scenes. We have been ready to release some new plugins, but are rearranging some things into a new idea that will be even better for you.Â

Reminder: Download 113 FREE Carousel Demo Layouts
Last month we created over 100 example carousels for the Divi Carousel Maker plugin are now available as free layouts for you to download and import into your own site. Hopefully these layouts will allow you to save time while also giving you a chance to explore how each carousel was created.
Product Support Changes
Last month I mentioned that we were switching to ThriveDesk. Well, we did for about two weeks, then realized it was not suited for us. For most of June so far we have been simply using Gmail with the addon called Gmelius, which helps us organize and collaborate on emails as a shared inbox.
Some of you may have met Sumaira, who is helping with product support. She is learning quickly and doing a great job. She worked for Elegant Themes support so is very qualified. Her help ultimately gives me some time to work on a some exciting new things!
